To be enjoyed at any time of the day

After dedicating my working life to launching other people's great products, it was time to focus more close to home. I work in Marketing and Graphic Design & I'm a real foodie!

It all started a few years ago when my husband had a ruptured appendix which left him with gut issues including dysbiosis and other serious health problems. Unfortunately, it became down to him to find his way through the maze that is the health industry. He has had every test possible to find a solution losing around 15% of his body weight loss despite eating more than enough. In the UK, the NHS is severely stretched and unfortunately GPs tend to give you a pill to fix the issue; and of course the intelligent thing to do is to listen and trust the professionals. Do as you're told.

We later found out through luck that gluten was like a poison to Matt causing him to react badly to it. And so, as the cook of the house, I started learning about gluten and its effects, and how to cook gluten free dishes without paying a fortune on GF food!  

This is the reason why I called this business - Granola Stories. This is our story, what's yours?

I worked alongside Julie Court, a nutrition consultant, to develop the best recipes so they contain high fibre and protein to keep you fuller for longer; and use zero refined sugars.

Wholesome | Gluten Free | Vegan

Scottish Gluten Free Jumbo Oats 

We only use jumbo gluten free oats in our recipes which have been rolled just once to produce a nice large flake. This creates a thicker crunchier texture for a more satisfying breakfast. Oats are naturally high in fibre and are nutrient-rich and releases energy slowly.

Maple Syrup [naturally vegan]

The minerals found in maple syrup include calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, and zinc. Vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and B6 are also found in this syrup.

Why we love it

Maple syrup is not only tempting and delicious but is also a hoarder of ample health benefits. 

• Contains 24 antioxidants and these can help protect you from many health conditions. 

• Helps in maintaining male reproductive health. There are certain minerals such as zinc, in maple syrup, that are useful for a healthy reproductive system, particularly the prostate gland.

• Strengthens immune system

NB: it is still a sugar to consumption in moderation is still the case!

It is really important to me that the business is eco-friendly. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and so is the mailer it comes in. 
I have 2 young kids and I would like the planet to have somewhat recovered from mass deforestation, plastic overuse and pollution to mention a few.
